I obviously can't share my real name, cause of the fuzz, but I build underground ISPs, CDNs, and Data Centres in Africa. We connect the unconnected, those who are not deemed financially viable by governments or operators, guys looking for a peaceful place to watch HD content cause they don't have access or can't afford video services like Netflix etc, that is censorship free. I recently posted my project on /r/homelab, and added bits more today and many people asked me to come do an AMA, so lets do this thing. Ask me anything.
P.S. Be mindful of what you say (not ask, you can ask anything), in my world, bad things happen to people like me who are basically rebellious. The monster is real here and I've already been nicked twice for this thing. Thanks.

Depends, but between 1 and 10 years.
Hey nic you're realizing that you give away quite alot of info about yourself that could be used to potentially identify you and put you behind bars for, S you mentioned 1-10 years..
I dont mean anything in particular with this comment, just saying that people doing stuff governments doesnt approve of has been singeled out by this sort of information before dude.
I've given out stuff I know ties in with other people who have followed my path, at least education wise. I've excluded country intentionally because I know our fuzz is looking for stuff explicitly marked with my country. As far as you know I could be in one of 53 countries, so that gives me some cover, plus I've covered my route to get here. I'm more worried about them finding me in my home country by finding info from my home country and not from outside. Have been doing stuff like this for years, and even when it went sideways twice, one I could elbow grease my way out of the situation, and secondly they were fairly clueless about what was really going on.
But then again it could go sideways and for me, being grabbed is an eventuality. Someone is bound to blab. It's something I've accepted. Go hard or go home, right? Also, I write under a nom de plume that is known by maybe 4 people and my family.
