EDIT: Thanks for all the great questions! We even made it to MSN! Ill keep this going live as long as you guys keep questions coming. Thanks again!

Q:

Can I get the number 14 combo, large sized with a Baja Blast?

A:

For sure. Pull ahead to the window. Thanks.

Q:

That feel when you're kind of trying to be a smartass and OP is a good guy and now you just want that tasty T-Bell goodness, haha

A:

Im quite accustomed to spitting out the same lines over and over. Couldn't let this be any exception. Never know when corporates gonna come through

Q:

😂At least you're real about it.

A:

I don't front bro

Q:

pussy ass frontin bitch boi, why don't you wipe my ass with that tortilla and get me a side of deep fried apple pies to ranch with later. Fosho, Fosho.

A:

Your total is $6.99. Please pull forward.

Q:

ahhh.... fosho, fosho. thanks mulato, ill see you on the quad a la noche as those dirty Mexicans would say am I right???

A:

That's a 60 cent add on, is that alright?

Q:

tried the double chalupa yesterday. The jalapenos on top is a real nice move

A:

Mhmmm spicy chalupas are straight fire

Q:

While they're still around? Please for the love of God, what do you mean?

A:

All good things must come to an end. Unfourtunately theyre just a limited time item

Q:

I was going to get pizza, but you just inspired me to go to taco bell and try something out with that chipotle sauce.

A:

Its honestly good asf. Get it on anything and you will be pleased

Q:

Why did all my tb's get rid of the raspberry tea? That was my favorite part of going there, now I have to settle for pink lemonade :(

A:

Can't say, it was gone before I started working at my location. We still have the mango tea but it's not that great

Q:

Tell Mr Bell to please bring it back thanks.

A:

Ill put in a word for ya

Q:

Que queries tu?

Q:

Are there rules on how little or how much you can put in a taco or burrito? I mean are things measured out?

EX: I usually order bean burritos and a lot of times there is no sauce so it's really dry.. or the burrito is kinda thin.. other times it's nice and plump and delicious.

Also when I leave feedback online does it make it back to the employee's good or bad?

A:

Everything is measured out. And i get hella shade if i try to give people decent portions. And yes all online reviews are posted on the wall in the back of the resturant for employees to see

Q:

Sounds delicious!

A:

The beef never bothered me too much. Seems real enough and tastes decent

Q:

I sure hope it does not come in frozen, especially after reading what this person's meat defrosting procedure is. You never defrost frozen meat in hot water!!!

A:

It does come frozen off the trucks. But it thaws in the walk in fridge before being heated in the water.

Q:

It's fully cooked, Not raw.

A:

Ah you are correct. The beef doesn't actually come frozen, not does the steak. But at my location chicken does. Thanks for correcting that

Q:

Old school TB here (graduated in 2005). Steak and chicken used to come frozen and go straight into the freezer. We would put several bags at a time from the freezer into bus tubs in the walk-in cooler to thaw before reheating. If I recall correctly, sometimes the beef would come off the truck frozen, but it went straight into the walk-in and was usually thawed before reheating.

A:

This. I never open so I was rather unsure. But yeah it sounds like everything comes frozen and goes into the walk-in off the truck.

Q:

What's the deal with baja sauce? Used to get it daily. At some point it came off the menu but was still available if you asked. I gave up on it because I ran into too many employees who didn't know how to add it.

A:

Are you referring to the tomato sauce or the spicy stuff? Seems like every person who asks had i different idea of what it is

Q:

Not tomato sauce. It was a whiteish-yellowish creamy looking sauce. May have had specks of red or yellow but not sure. It's been a while

A:

That's now called spicy ranch :))

Q:

Why did they take out chips and cheese dip out of the $5 cravings deal? CinnaTwists are stale.

A:

We didn't??

Q:

Do you get free food/drinks for working there? Have you ever given your friends free stuff? How do your managers feel about it?

A:

Technically im not allowed to eat for free but i do very often bc the managers dont mind. Its impossible to give stuff away to friends because everything is made to order

Q:

Do you like working the drive thru or the front counter better? Are there specific jobs besides manager or do you pretty much rotate everywhere?

(I'm actually eating Taco Bell in my truck rn hahah)

A:

I basically do everything. Working the druve thru is easiest, front counter is the most boring. Food is nice and makes time fly by but it gets stressful. I think my favorite is actually frying stuff and doing dishes in the back.

Q:

What is it about this bean process that grosses you out?

A:

They come in bags and look like wood chips, then you just add water and they turn to mush. Pretty gross IMO but it doesn't seem to bother anyone else.

Q:

How many not high customers do you get? It always seems to be full of stoner kids where I live.

Also do they train you to glop the ingredients separately on each burrito so you get for example one bite of solid sour cream and that's the only bite that has any at all?

A:

Lmao. High/drunk people make up a solid percent of the people we serve. But realistically most of are customers are sober as far as I can tell. And we arent trained to do to that but I know it happens a lot of the time. I personally do my best to make food as I would want it made.

Q:

Do you miss Lava sauce?

A:

Not really, Diablo FTW

Q:

How often do you shit fire? I imagine working at TB has to come with downsides such as that.

A:

Almost daily. But you learn to live with it

Q:

What was your most disgusting experience in the bathroom?

A:

Just piss everywhere. And i mean everywhere. Entire room covered. Some drunk ass did a good number in there

Q:

How many times have drunk people walked into your location and either thrown up or passed out?

A:

Passed out a couple times. But I havent had vomit yet. Fingers crossed

Q:

Why TF do y'all put so little steak in the burritos?

A:

We have scoops that we must fill and were not allowed to put any more. Whenever i try to give people a decent portion I get bitched out by my managers

Q:

How many calories are on your menu?

A:

Infinite. No really..

Q:

Is the kitchen sanitary?

A:

Actually very. This surprised me when i first started working here

Q:

Why are the Drive Through menus written in such small fonts and placed so far away from the cars compared to other fast food joints? (Might be a regional thing).

A:

So people order less and save us the hassle of making it. Kidding. Not sure

Q:

This AMA made it to MSN's front page.

Can you still get a Chili Cheese Burrito? Huge argument with some friends.

A:

Not at my location you can. But its still on our electronic menus so that tells me at some locations you may still be able to. And holy Shit thats sweet

Q:

Have you encountered any horrible customers, you know, the "crazy ones"?

A:

Oh boy. Too many to count. One that stands out is a lady who forgot to order something at the box and tried to order a shitton more food at the window. We politely asked for her to pull back around out of courtesy for the other customers (we were quite backed up). She proceeded to get out of her car and pound on the drive through window and demand that we make her food for free. She then walked around and came inside to order the rest of her food, with her car still parked in the drive thru lane and A BABY IN THE BACK SEAT.
