Top Retail Reddit IAmA's The latest Retail IAmA's collected from Reddit RetailIamA Front end Assistant Manager at a chaotic grocery store, AMA! Hi everyone! I work at a retirement home/demantia and due to there being prohibit rules workers aren't allowed to speak about whats going on and people will always ask me a lot of questions about my work so Here I am! I will of course still follow this prohibited to talk rule by not speaking in details about the individuals or places or who I am but I will still answer questions about the work. Atm I work on night shifts and it is pretty quiet so I was thinking I could spend the night answering your questions. So fire away!

(EDIT:) Reading your stories and other caretakers experiences warms really makes me smile! I had no idea that this AMA would get this kind of exposure

(EDIT EDIT:) I think some my comments got deleted or I just forgot to save them so RIP. I wanted to make sure that I read every question thoroughly. So back at it again.

(EDIT 3X:) I will go to bed. Im pretty tired at the moment. I will look through the comments when I wake up and answer some more and then I'm gonna close the AMA. Im really happy that I could help out some of you and give you some clarity. Take care!

(EDIT 4X:) Alright im gonna end it here. I have had so much fun reading your stories and answering your questions. Never thought this would be such a huge AMA. Take care everyone and I wish you guys all the best! <3

RetailIAmA Costco Food Court Employee, AMA My short bio: Hey reddit! I was hit by a car while on my motorcycle 2 years ago and as a result I tore several of my nerves at the braquial plexus. I broke my radius and ulna, lost all movement in my right arm, and since then my life has changed forever.

In February 2016, after 6 months of fruitless therapy, I had nerve surgery in Mexico where 25cm (~10 in) of nerve was removed from my right leg to be inserted at the braquial plexus and several other points in my arm to promote nerve growth and regeneration.

Since then, I've been attending physical therapy daily and have seen veeeery slow changes over the course of this year. My doctor said that it will take about 3-4 years after the surgery for me to see what movement I will have for the rest of my life, but it all depends on how much work I put into my recovery.

In this time I have continued my bachelor's degree, struggled with depression, tried to continue pursuing my interests (especially music), and maintained an incredible relationship.

Ask me absolutely anything! :D

RetailIamA JCPenney Associate in a dying world of retail. Any questions you have about things are done, why stores are messy, how things are on the inside, AMA! I've been an employee at JCPenneys for years. I have seen things change a lot and I want to clear things up to people about how the retail world is on the inside.

Edit 1: That's all for tonight everyone this was a lot of fun. I may continue tomorrow depending on how many and what kind of questions there are.

Edit 2: This was an awesome AMA and I had a lot of fun. I'll have to do another one of these sometime. Thanks for all the questions! I hope I cleared up some things about how retail is done from the inside. Stuff you'll never hear coming from the big guys that run the show.
